Dec.7-13
Recently Jake surprised us by counting to ten in Spanish! One of his daycare teachers is Hispanic, and has been incorporating Spanish in the students' daily "Circle Time" curriculum.
Jake can draw all his shapes on paper and can verbally spell out his name. The funny thing about Jake is that he calls himself "Jake Doris" not Sedoris. We have to work with him on this at home!

Nov. 2-8 Fall Fun
Jake is now 2 1/2 years old. He loves playing outside and taking advantage of the mild weather. Jake also enjoys his daily Circle Time at daycare. This is where toddlers learn about letters, numbers, sounds, colors, shapes etc...We call it his preschool time, which is the same concept. Jake is definitely becoming a social person with his daycare friends as his vocabulary increases. He also is learning how to skip, which is more of a gallop. It is hilarious and video will be published soon.
